I managed to get the Van over to a garage where they informed me it was going to cost $600 to fix it. Nancy had called Ryan Hulett at the Chevy dealership and had left a message, asking him if his crew could offer a better deal. Since his mechanics couldn’t get to it till Monday, he just promptly offered to pay $200 of the bill if I had it fixed at the garage I had taken it to. Since they could do it right away, I had them go ahead. Ryan said he would drop off the money later this evening. The Lord continues to provide!
Kerry and I played another round of golf and after we finished, we joined Nancy back at the house. Around 3:30PM the van was ready to be picked up. The guys at the garage had lowered their price by about $130 so with Ryans donation I only had to pay $280! Thank you Lord!
Nancy and I left at 4:30 toward Tipton. After clearing security we walked to the Prison Chapel where guys were already waiting outside for the doors to be unlocked.
Over 100 men filed into the Chapel and we had an outstanding time of music and fellowship. My program lasted nearly 90 minutes…two segments… with Nancy sharing some in between. 11 men raised their hands to surrender to Jesus at the close! It was a great night!
